Kirkendall

Kirkendall is nestled between the Niagara Escarpment, Main street west, Queen street and Longwood, As close to highway access as one can get but also close to downtown Hamilton. Also served by bike rentals and extensive bike paths to get you east and west to work.

Typical homes are close to a century or more, detached, brick. Yards are often of a good
size. Good canopy of trees. Lots of porches.

The area boasts a rail trail that runs along the escarpment; a two-course public golf course at Chedoke.

Although there is still a fairly broad span between incomes, it is quickly moving upwards due to the housing market.

Condos and luxury apartments are new to the area and more condos are under construction. The big draw is the shopping and dining of Locke Street, the great schools and general high walkability scores.

Food trucks are an every Thursday night occurrence off of Locke Street during the summer months.
